(Bridge End, Chester-le-Street) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 24/6/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 10 metres of Bridge End that extends southerly from its junction with Picktree Lane, Chester le Street to enable gas main works to be undertaken. Alternative route will be available locally via Picktree Mews and Picktree Lane. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 4/7/22 and are anticipated to be completed in 18 days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
