NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the following application(s) have been made to the Flintshire County Council in respect of the above legislation.
064424 & 064425 - Planning and Listed Building Applications for erection of new oak timber frame garage to South West corner of the plot with slate roof to include soft landscaping and a 600mm high sandstone wall at Gwysaney Saw Mills, Rhosesmor. (This development affects the special character and setting of a Listed Building).
064323 - Refurbishment of redundant outbuilding to provide an annex to main house within the existing building footprint. New slate roof and windows installed to existing openings at Hesp Alyn Farm, Cilcain, Mold. (This development affects the setting of a Listed Building within a Conservation Area)

On 6th & 12th May 2022 Flintshire County Council received an application for Planning Permission accompanied by an Environmental Statement to carry out the following development. Further information has now been submitted with respect to the Environmental Statement and can be viewed at the address below.
FUL/000010/22 - Application for piling of the paper machine associated with the redevelopment and expansion of former UPM Shotton Paper Mill Site at Shotton Paper Mill, Weighbridge Road, Deeside Industrial Park. (Application accompanied by an Environmental Statement Schedule 1).
FUL/000011/22 - Redevelopment and expansion of former UPM Shotton Paper Mill site comprising 82 hectares of new paper factory buildings and processing plant and associated landscaping, offices, access and parking at Shotton Paper Mill, Weighbridge Road, Deeside Industrial Park. (Application accompanied by an Environmental Statement Schedule 1).

Notice Of Proposed Disposal Of Public Open Space Land

In compliance with section 123 (2A) Local Government Act 1972, Flintshire County Council gives notice that it intends to dispose, by the grant of an easement, of part of open space land being the play area on the North side of Ffordd Derwyn, Penyffordd, Flintshire in connection with the installation of surface water and foul drainage pipes, associated manholes and inspection chambers and necessary ancillary apparatus. A copy of a plan of the easement strip may be inspected at Flintshire Connects, Buckley Library, The Precinct, Buckley, Flintshire, CH7 2EF during normal opening hours, and is available for inspection on the Council's website (Public Notices Section) at

Temporary Traffic Notice
Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic Order
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 Alltami

The Flintshire County Council hereby intends not sooner than 7 days from the 01 July 2022 to make an Order which will prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in Alltami Road between its junctions with A494T and White Farm Road, Alltami in the County of Flintshire. The reason for the closure is to facilitate drainage repairs with associated works by Flintshire County Council; Streetscene & Transportation.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs.
It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on 18th July 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter. The road will only be closed
for 2 weeks, or until earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.

Notice Of Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic Order
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14 Hawarden

Flintshire County Council has made an Order which prohibits any vehicle from proceeding in Manor Lane between its junctions with B5125 Chester Road and Manor Road, Hawarden in the County of Flintshire.
The reason for the closure is to facilitate Drainage Connection with associated works by Portal Construction NW Limited. The alternative route available for vehicles will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs.
The Order comes into force on the 4th July 2022. It is anticipated that the road will only be closed for 3 weeks, or until the earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months. A B/FCC (TTRO) 043434.

During the period of the closures and restrictions, all streets in the schedules above will be subject to a temporary speed reduction, prohibiting vehicles from travelling at a speed exceeding 10mph
The reason for the closure is Carriageway surface treatments with associated works by Flintshire County Council; Streetscene and Transportation.
The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure will be signed accordingly by the use of prescribed signs.
It is anticipated that the Order will come into force on 18th July 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter, with a completion date of
31st March 2023 or until earlier completion of the works, subject to a maximum period of eighteen months.

The Flintshire County Council hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all enabling powers, the effect of which will be:-
a) To impose a speed limit of 40mph on the length of road specified in the Schedule to this notice.

The Flintshire County Council hereby gives notice that it proposes to make an Order under Section 84 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers the effect of which will be to amend The Flintshire County Council (Sealand Road, Seahill Road and Old Sealand Road, Sealand) (Speed Limit) Order 2015, as though the third Schedule to that Order shall be deleted and replaced with:-
