Northumberland County Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section 14(1) Parish Of Haydon Public Footpath Number 36 (Temporary Public Footpath Closure) Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council Intends to make an Order to prohibit the use of Parish of Haydon Public Footpath No 36, In the County of Northumberland. The length of Public Footpath No 36 which is affected is as follows:-
From a point immediately north-east of the Anchor Hotel in a north easterly direction along the southern bank of the River South Tyne for a distance of 230 metres to a point 25 metres north-west of number 12 Martins Close. There is an alternative route available using existing public highways over Martins Close and John Martin Street.
The Order is to be effective from the 11 th July 2022

The closure has been requested by Northumberland County Council in the interests of public safety to facilitate remedial painting works to the road bridge.
