DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 04 July 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 09 July 2022. This Order will enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution, safe access to carry out utility works.
The effect of the order is as follows:
[1] To impose a temporary 40mph speed limit on A356, RAMPISHAM between Rampisham North Solar Farm and a point approximately 400m south east, as indicated by signs on site.

Any person who uses or permits the use of a vehicle in contravention of the Notice will be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding £1000.
Temporary Closure of Wynd Close, West Stafford
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 11 July 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15 July 2022.
This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works. The effect of this Order is as follows:
[1] To impose temporary road closure on Wynd Close, West Stafford in its entirety a distance of approximately
170 metres. There will be no alternative route on this occasion, however access will be maintained.
[2] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the
highway along Wynd Close, West Stafford in its entirety a distance of approximately 170 metres. Any vehicle
waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the
Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986. Please note that the dates are a window of opportunity and
the road may not be closed for the whole duration stated above and the works are weather dependant.

Temporary Closure of Nottington Lane, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along NOTTINGTON LANE, WEYMOUTH from its junction with Nottington Court for a distance of approximately 30 metres in an easterly direction. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 4 July 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15 July 2022.
This Order will enable Ford Civil Engineering, safe access to remove existing traffic calming and carry out works associated with new development.
An alternative route will be signed using: Dorchester Road - A354 Weymouth Way - B3157 Granby Way - Chickerell Road - East Street - School Hill - Coldharbour - Harbour Hill - Nottington Lane.
