Reason: New gully and drainage pipe installation by WCC. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: to close that part of Link Footpath F50027 Lambert Road
(past No 42) from its junction with U54151 Happy Land West to its
junction with F50026 Footbridge to Bromyard Road for its entire length.
Reason: Unsafe for pedestrians due to demolition works in close
proximity to footpath by Avison Young (UK) Ltd.
Exemptions: There is no vehicular access for emergency vehicles.
Pedestrian access for emergency services could be facilitated if required.
Alternative route: U54151 Happy Land West, A44 Bromyard Road,
F50026 Footbridge to Bromyard Road and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 6 Months. Anticipated duration: 173 days

Reason: Carriageway Resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(B4424 Upton Road, Powick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022 Proposed Order: to close that part of B4424 Upton Road from its junction with A449 Malvern Road & A449 Upton Road to its junction with C2103 Jennett Tree Lane.
Reason: New/replacement gas main by Sapphire Utility. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Reason: New customer connection by Open Reach. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: to close that part of U52124 Camp Hill Road from its junction with U52129 Athelstan Road to its junction with U52124 Camp Hill Avenue.
Reason: New vehicle crossing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: to close that part of U52040 Nunnery Lane from its junction with U52138 Spetchley Road to its junction with U52039 Hilllery Road.
Reason: New/replacement electricity cable by Western Power Distribution.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: to close that part of A449 Worcester Northern Link from its junction with B4550 Blackpole Road to its junction with A449 Westbound.
Reason: VRS replacement works by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: to close that part of B4204 Martley Road from its junction with U62416 Peachley Lane to its junction with B4204 to Middle Temple Laugherne Cottages. Reason: New/replacement Gas main by Express Utilities. Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(U54152 Blakefield Gardens, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and Worcestershire County Council (Graham Road, Worcester) (One-way traffic) Order 2001 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2022 Proposed Order: to close that part of U54152 Blakefield Gardens from its junction with A44 Bromyard Road to its junction with U54154 Graham Road and temporarily suspend the Worcestershire County Council (Graham Road) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1973 for the duration of the order to facilitate two-way traffic. Reason: Footway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(Footpath DB-538, Drakes Broughton & Wadborough) (Temporary Closure) Order 2020
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 24 December 2020 the effect of which is to close part of Footpath DB-538, Drakes Broughton & Wadborough, which was due to expire on 4 July 2022 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 31 May 2023 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State.
The Order has been made to facilitate construction works in the new
housing development.

(Footpaths SG-517 and SG-519, St Peter The Great, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2019
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 31 January 2019, the effect of which was to close Footpaths SG-517 and SG-519, St Peter The Great, Worcester for their entire lengths, which was due to expire on 30 June 2022 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 31 July 2022 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State. The Order has been made due to the likelihood of danger to the public during the construction of the Worcester Southern Link Road Phase 4 Scheme.
Alternative route: Footpath SG-518, Footways of the A38 Road, Footpaths KP-570, KP-567, KP-566, U60021 Rookery Road, U60020 Lyfs

(Footpath AK-678 (part), Alfrick) (Temporary Closure) Order 2022
NOTICE is hereby given that the Order made by Worcestershire County Council on 13 May 2021 the effect of which is to close that part of Footpath AK-678 (part), Alfrick from its junction with Folley Road for a distance of 130 metres to OS Grid Reference 750 533 at Clay Green Farm, which was due to expire on 30 June 2022 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for the Department Transport until the works to which it relates have been completed or until 31 August 2022 whichever is sooner. Any further extension will require the approval of the Secretary of State. The Order has been made due to works to be carried out associated with a new housing development.
Alternative route: via Footpath AK-688; Footpath AK-683; Footpath AK-691; Bridleway AK-675; Footpath AK-678 and vice versa.
