Notice Of Confirmation Of Modification Orders Section 53 Of The Wildlife And Countryside Act 1981

The Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire Clanfield Restricted Byway No. 1 and Bridleway No. 1 Modification Order 2022
On the 13 June 2022, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-Upgrading to a Restricted Byway the public right of way from the bend in Mill Lane at grid reference SP 2715 0174 (point A on the order plan), running generally north for approximately 383 metres to a point situated where a track runs to the east at grid reference SP 2710 0213 (point B on the Order plan) and
Upgrading to a Bridleway the public right of way from a point situated at grid reference SP 2710 0213 (point B on the Order plan), running generally north for approximately492 metres to Calcroft Lane at grid reference SP 2707 0261 (point C on the Order plan). The Oxfordshire County Council Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for Oxfordshire Addition of Byway-Open-to-All-Traffic No. 18, Restricted Byway No. 19 and Upgrading of Public Footpath No. 9 (part) to Restricted Byway (No. 19) Parish of Clanfield Modification Order 2022 On the 13 June 2022, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-Adding to them the Byway Open to All Traffic from Mill Lane Little Clanfield at grid reference SP 2711 0138, running south-west for approx. 52 metres to the north end of the bridge at Broadwell Brook at SP 27091 01345.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-Adding to them the Byway Open to All Traffic from Mill Lane Little Clanfield at grid reference SP 2711 0138, running south-west for approx. 52 metres to the north end of the bridge at Broadwell Brook at SP 27091 01345.
Adding to them the Restricted Byway from the north end of the bridge at Broadwell Brook at SP 27091 01345, running south west for approximately 3 metres to the junction with Clanfield Footpath No. 9 at SP 27090 01341.
Upgrading part of Clanfield Footpath No. 9 to a Restricted Byway from the junction with Clanfield Footpath No. 9 atgrid reference SP 27090 01341, running south-west for approximately 85 metres to the parish boundary and junction with Grafton and Radcot Bridleway No. 3 and Footpath No. 5 at SP 2703 0127. On the 13 June 2022, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-Deleting from them the footpath from Bull's Lane at grid reference SP 5767 1618 running north east for approximately 79 metres to its junction with Footpath No 2 at SP 5774 1622 and adding to them the footpath from Bull's Lane at grid reference SP 5768 1617 running north east for approximately 87 metres to its junction with Footpath No 2 at SP 5775 1622. On the 13 June 2022, Oxfordshire County Council confirmed without modification the above order made under section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-Adding to the particulars contained in the Definitive Statement to specify widths as follows:-For Hailey Restricted Byway No. 29, 9.1m between grid reference SP 3546 1167 and SP 35501167, and that shown between boundaries on the 19213rd Edition Ordnance Survey County Series Mapping between SP 3550 1167 and SP 3584 1169. For Hailey Bridleway No. 30, that shown between boundaries on the 1921 3rd Edition Ordnance Survey County Series Mapping between SP 3584 1169 and SP 3592 1171 and 7.6m between SP 3592 1171 and SP 3608 1178.

The effect of the order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by:-Adding to them the footpath from Spring Lane at grid reference SU 6910 9436, running north­west for approximately 97 metres to Watcombe Road at grid reference SU 6902 9442 then north-north-east for approximately 41 metres to Hill Road at grid reference SU 6903 9445. The orders as confirmed became operative on the date of confirmation but if a person aggrieved by the orders wants to question their validity, on the ground that they are not within the powers of section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of Schedule 15 to the Act has not been complied with in relation to the orders, he or she may, under paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 42 days from 30 June 2022, make an application for that purpose to the High Court.
