Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, the Council intends to make Orders under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

Cherry Ln, Lymm (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Cherry Ln from its jct. with Cherry Corner to its jct. with Booths Ln. The Order will be effective from 13th July 2022 for 9 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative routes will be as follows: Cherry Ln (east bound traffic) via Booths Hill Rd, Church Rd, Higher Ln, High Legh Rd, Cliff Ln & vice versa; Cherry Ln (west bound traffic) via Booths Hill Rd, Camsley Ln, Stockport Rd, Knutsford Rd, Cliff Ln & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Scottish Power to install a new 33kv circuit as part of the Green Recovery Project.

Church Ln, Grappenhall (Prohibition of Driving & Clearway) (Summer) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving & clearway on Church Ln from its jct. with Broad Ln to its jct. with Glebe Ave. The Order will be effective from 25th July 2022 for 6 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Church Ln, A56 Chester Rd, A50 Knutsford Rd, Bellhouse Ln & vice versa or via Broad Ln, Grappenhall Ln, A50 Cliff Ln, A50 Knutsford Rd, Bellhouse Ln & vice versa. The restrictions are required to allow continuing works to Heritage Area reconstructing & relaying cobbled road surface, including work to improve drainage. Ref: High/2303

Padgate Ln (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be to introduce a prohibition of driving on Padgate Ln (northeast bound traffic) from its jct. with Orford Rd to its jct. with Davenham Ave. The Order will be effective from 31st July 2022 for 1 day, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Orford Rd, Birchwood Way & Blackbrook Ave. The closure is required to allow for United Utilities to install a new water connection. Ref: High/2348

Pepper St & Longbutt Ln, Lymm (Prohibition of Driving, Clearway & Suspension) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which will be as follows: Prohibition of Driving & Clearway: Pepper St from its jct. with Rectory Ln to its jct. with The Peppers; Domville Cl from its jct. with Pepper St for 25m; Grove Rise from its jct. with Pepper St for 50m; May Queen Field Drive from its jct. with Pepper St for 25m; Longbutt Ln from its jct. with Orchard Ave to its jct. with Scholars Green Ln (West); Clearway: Orchard Ave from its jct. with Longbutt Ln for 20m along its eastern side & 40m along its western side; Temporary Suspension of The Borough of Warrington (Longbutt Ln, Lymm) (Prohibition of Driving) Order 1982 in its entirety. The Order will be effective from 25th July 2022 for 16 weeks, as detailed & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Orchard Ave, Longbutt Ln, Scholars Green Ln, Grammar School Rd, Higher Ln, Rectory Ln & vice versa. The restrictions are required for highway maintenance works.

Bridge Ln, Appleton (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on Bridge Ln from its jct. with Dingleway to its jct. with Dale Ln. The Order will be effective from 4th July 2022 for 2 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Dingleway, London Rd, Lyons Ln, Broom Ave & vice versa. The closure is required to allow for highway alteration works to be carried out to the new Broomfields Care Home site. Ref: High/2325

River Rd (Prohibition of Driving) Temporary Order 2022
The effect of which is to introduce a prohibition of driving on River Rd between its jct.'s with Wilderspool Causeway.
The Order will be effective from 4th July 2022
for 3 weeks, as & when signed on site. The alternative route will be via Wilderspool Causeway & vice versa. The closure is required to allow Cadent Gas to carry out mains replacement work. Ref: High/2345
