Cheshire West And Chester Borough Council (A548, Sealand Road) (Speed Limit) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council propose to make the following Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provision of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be to introduce a 40mph speed limit on A548 Sealand Road from a point 107 metres north-west of its junction with Ferry Lane to the Borough Boundary located approximately 12 metres northwest of its junction with Western Avenue. Full details of the proposed restrictions are in the draft Order which, together with a plan showing the extents of the proposals, may be examined at the Council Offices, HQ, Nicholas Street, Chester between the hours of 9am and 4:30pm Monday to Friday and may be viewed in the Public Notices section of the Council's website. All objections and other representations relating to the Order must be made in writing to the undersigned by 22 July 2022 and objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Any representations relating to the Orders should specify the title of the Order and may become available for public inspection.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic TRO6291 - Shay Lane in Malpas
Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Malpas to enable BT cabling works, works to be carried out by Airband Community Internet Ltd.
Shay Lane - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes.

The Order will come into force on 11th July 2022 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately fifteen days to complete. Alternative routes for through traffic - Traffic should proceed via Shay Lane, Old Coach Road, Bickerton Road, Rabout Malpas/Bickerton, Whitchurch Road, Cholmondeley Road.
