The Brighton & Hove (Brighton Trail Weekend) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) Order 2022
On Sunday, 26th June 2022 the Brighton Trail Weekend is taking place in Brighton. To facilitate its safe passage part of the route will need to be closed to traffic and therefore Brighton & Hove City Council intend not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order pursuant to powers in Section 16A to C of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when it comes into force will have the following effect: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle that is not participating in, or connected with the Brighton Trail Weekend to proceed in, exit from, or turn into any of the lengths of road specified below, except upon the direction or with the permission of a Police Constable in uniform or that of a uniformed marshal:
1. Sunday 26th June 2022 from 08.00 to 16.00 hours - Road closure of Ditchling Road, Brighton - from the city boundary to the Upper Lodges - with the exception of Brighton & Hove Bus No 79
2. Sunday, 26th June 2022 between the hours of 08.00 to 10.30 - the speed limit for vehicles shall be 20mph for the following roads:
Warren Road from the junction of Wilson Avenue to Sheepcote Valley Car Park Falmer Road from the junction of McWilliam Road - 300 metres northwards Dated: 24 June 2022.
