(Dead Lane, Lawford/Mistley) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Tendring Hundred Show) Order 2022 (Bromley Road, Chequers Road, Grange Road, Pedler's Corner & School Lane, Lawford/ Mistley) (Temporary One Way & No Entry) (Tendring Hundred Show) Order 2022


Notice is hereby given
that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Orders under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the orders:
1. To temporarily close that length of Dead Lane, Lawford/Mistley in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Chequers Road, west to its junction with Bromley Road.

2. To temporarily impose a one-way restriction on the following length of Bromley Road, Chequers Road &, Pedler's Corner, Lawford/Mistley, in the District of Tendring:

Bromley Road, F Lawford/Mistley From its junction with SouthboundA137 Wignall Street, to its junction with Grange
Road (will be in place between the approximate hours of 08:30h and 14:30h. At the discretion of Essex Police this will be reversed from approximately 14:30h and 17:30h)
Chequers Road, From its junction with Southbound Lawford/Mistley Pedler's Corner to its then junction with Bromley Westbound Road.
Pedler's Corner, From its junction with Southbound Lawford/Mistley B1035 Clacton Road to then
its junction with Chequers Westbound Road.
3. To temporarily introduce a Prohibition of Entry on the following length of Bromley Road, Grange Road & School Lane, Lawford/Mistley, in the District of Tendring:

(Footpath 5, Mistley, Tendring) (Temporary Prohibition of Use Extension) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the above Order made by Essex County Council, under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), has been continued in force with the consent of the Secretary of State for the Department for Transport until 03 January 2023. Effect of the order: To temporarily close part of Footpath 5, Mistley, in the District of Tendring. From its junction with Footpath 4, heading in a northerly direction for approximately 174 metres, to where it meets the junction with Rigby Avenue.
The alternative route will be via: Rigby Avenue, then east along B1352 Harwich Road, then heading in a southerly direction alongside Heath Road, then west along Footpath 4, and vice versa.
The closure commenced on 03 January 2022 and is required for the safety of the public due to construction works being undertaken.

(Pound Farm Drive/The Haven, Dovercourt) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Pound Farm Drive, Dovercourt in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Clarkes Road to its other junction with Clarkes Road a distance of approximately 370m.

2. To temporarily close that length of The Haven, Dovercourt in the District of Tendring, from its junction with Pound Farm Drive to its end a distance of approximately 80m.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 18th July 2022 for 47 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2315885 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one. network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway strengthening works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Clarkes Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 30th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Colchester Road, Lawford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Colchester Road, Lawford in the District of Tendring, from a point approximately 165m south west of its junction with Mill Hill for a distance of approximately 110m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 6th July 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30031781034 - UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one. network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole renewal works are undertaken by UK Power Networks. An alternative route is available via Long Road, Coxs Hill, Dale Hall Roundabout, Station Road and vice versa. The Order came into effect on 17th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
Bromley Road, Lawford/Mistley Grange Road, Lawford/Mistley
West of its junction with Dead Lane.
East of its junction with School Lane (this restriction with remain in place until the one-way system on Bromley Road is reversed) At its junction with A137 Wignall Street.
School Lane, Lawford/Mistley
The restrictions are scheduled to commence on 9 July 2022 for 1 day between the hours of 07:00am and 19:30h or where appropriate signs are showing, and weather permitting and are required for the safety of the public while the Tendring Hundred Show takes place. Access for emergency service vehicles and pedestrians will be maintained at all times during the closure. The Order will come into effect on 09 July 2022 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier

(Tendring District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.27) Order 202*

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1),45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), and Schedule 1 of The Traffic Orders Procedures Regulations 1996. Effect of the Order: To Implement 'No Waiting at Any Time' restrictions on the following lengths of road in the District of Tendring.
