Notice is hereby given that the Colchester Borough Council as the lead authority for The North Essex Parking Partnership, itself acting as agents for the highway authority Essex County Council, intends, not less than twenty-one days from the date of this notice, to vary the above Order relating to fees and charges under Section 35C and 46A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. It is intended that the changes will take place on 18th July 2022. The variation will have the effect of changing the tariff of fees for On-Street Parking, Exemptions and Permits and On-Street Payment Parking Charges - all other fees and charges in the Order will continue at their existing tariffs. Existing and proposed charges are detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

(i) to remove the double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time): on the north-west side of Mill Road outside No. 80 and No. 82, a distance of approximately 13 metres.

(j) to introduce 'No Stopping 6am-11pm Except Buses' restriction: on the south-east side of Mill Road from a point approximately 1 metre south-west of the shared property boundary of No. 89 and No. 91 for a distance of 28 metres north-east. This Order will be incorporated into The Essex County Council (Colchester Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 by replacing the following tile numbers with revision 1: TL990 277, TL990 272, TL990 270, TL995 270,
TL980 267, TL985 267, TL995 267, TL975 265, TL980 265 and
TL995 265; replacing the following tile numbers with revision 2:

Notice is hereby given Colchester Borough Council acting on behalf of the North Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an Agreement dated 31 March 2011 proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32, 35, 45, 46, 49 and 53 and Parts III and IV of schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To amend the following restrictions in the Borough of Colchester:

(High Street, Colchester) (Temporary Suspension of Prohibition of Vehicles) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council proposes to make the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. Effect of the order: To temporarily suspend the Temporary 'Prohibition of Vehicles' Order 2020, which is currently in place on High Street, Colchester, from its junction with Head Street to its junction with Museum Street for its entire length. The Essex County Council) (High Street Colchester) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicles) Order 2020 is hereby suspended in relation to the prohibition of vehicles entering High Street from its junction with Head Street to its junction with Museum Street whilst the Colchester Academy Year 11 Prom takes place. The prohibition of Vehicles West Stockwell Street, East Stockwell Street, George Street and Maidenburgh Street at its junction with High Street will remain in force.
The temporary suspension of the 'Prohibition of Vehicles' order is scheduled to commence between the hours 18:00hrs on the
I July 2022 and 01:00hrs on the 3 July 2022. The suspension is required to facilitate the taking place of the Colchester Academy Year 11 Prom.

The Order will come into effect 1 July 2022 and may continue in force for the duration of the event unless extended by the Secretary of State.

'The Colchester Borough (East and West Stockwell Streets, Maidenburgh Street and Northgate Street) (One Way, etc) Order 1978 is hereby temporarily suspended insofar as it relates to the one-way restriction on Northgate Street only. All other restrictions will remain in place.
