(Hamlet Court Road, Westcliffe On Sea) (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Or Traffic, Banned Right Turn, Parking, Waiting, Loading & Unloading) Order 2022 Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 -Section

14(1)

Notice is hereby given that the Southend-on-Sea City Counci ntends, no less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The Effect of the order will be to prohibit any vehicle from
1. Proceeding on Hamlet Court Road from its junction with Ditton Court Road to Canewdon Road

Proceeding on Hamlet Court Road from its junction with Ditton Court Road to Canewdon Road
2. Turning right from Ditton Court Road into Hamlet Court Road

3. Parking, waiting, loading & unloading on Hamlet Court Road from its junction of Ditton Court Road to outside & opposite No's 110 & 109 Hamlet Court Road.

The closure is scheduled to commence on Sunday the 10th of July 2022 & Sunday the 17th of July 2022, or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
PLEASE NOTE THIS IS FOR SUNDAY WORKING ONLY. The alternative route will be via
1. Hamlet Court Road, London Road, Milton Road, Trinity Avenue, Westcliffe Parade, Station Road, Hamlet Court Road

Hamlet Court Road, London Road, Milton Road, Trinity Avenue, Westcliffe Parade, Station Road, Hamlet Court Road
2. Hamlet Court Road, Station Road, Westcliffe Avenue, Milton Road, London Road, Hamlet Court Road.

The Order will come into effect on 10th of July 2022 and may
continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce whilst the repair of a leak on service mains takes place.
Access for emergency vehicles, residents and pedestrians will be
maintained at all times during the closure.
The prohibitions or restrictions will apply only during such time
and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by
the TRAFFIC SIGNS REGULATIONS AND GENERAL
DIRECTIONS 2016

Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction/prohibition mposed by this Notice may be issued with a Penalty Charge Notice and removed under the provisions of the Traffic Management Act 2004
