(Unc 22.6, The Hide, Ireshopeburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 17/6/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on 30 metres of Unc 22.6, The Hide, Ireshopeburn, adjacent to the property The Hide DL13 1HF to enable Durham County Council culvert investigation and repair works to be undertaken. Alternative route from the southern side of the closure, via Harthope Road north, Hood Street east through St John's Chapel to rreshopeburn, then Stony Path south, and vice versa. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence on 27/6/22 from 8am to 4.30pm daily and are anticipated to be completed in 10 working days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
