Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Section 14 City Of Bradford Metropolitan District Council Main Street, Wilsden Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic Order

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near Main Street, Wilsden Intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Main Street from a point outside No. 731 Main Street to a point outside Well House.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via Main Street (unaffected section), Harden Lane, Wilsden Lane, Long Lane, Hill End Lane, Bingley Road, Halifax Road, Haworth Road, Cullingworth Road, Haworth Road, Lane Side and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 19:00 hours on the 4th July 2022 and remain in force until 21:30 hours on the 4th July 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
