3. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Haydons Road, Deburgh Road and Norman Road or vice-versa. Access to and egress from Tintern Close will be maintained at all times.

4. The restriction and suspension would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. Nothing in this Order would apply: -

(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or

(d) so as to prevent access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

7. The Order would come into force on Monday 18th July 2022, with the works anticipated to be completed on Wednesday 20th July 2022. However, the Order would remain in operation for a maximum period of 3 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(CAVENDISH ROAD. COLLIERS WOOD) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate cover replacement works in High Street Colliers Wood, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Cavendish Road.

2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Cavendish Road, Colliers Wood, from its junction with High Street Colliers Wood eastward for a distance of 5 metres; or

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading, in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above.

3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed using High Street Colliers Wood, Marlborough Road and Park Road.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply: -

(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or

(d) so as to prevent vehicular access to premises in or adjacent to the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) to this notice insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the works.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order would come into operation on Tuesday 12th July 2022 with the works expected to be completed the same day. However, the Order would remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(CHURCH ROAD. CR4) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water connection works in Church Road, CR4, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle (including any bicycle), to enter or proceed in any cycle lane or length of cycle lane located in Church Road, CR4, between its junction with Batsworth Road and a point 34 metres north of its junction with Phipp's Bridge Road.

3. The restriction would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Bicycles affected by the cycle lane closures should proceed using the main carriageway.

5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency.

6. The Order would come into operation on Monday 4th July 2022 and remain in force for 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(LINGFIELD ROAD. SW19) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water connection works in Lingfield Road, SW19, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Lingfield Road, between the common boundary of Nos. 6 and 7 Lingfield Road and the common boundary of Nos. 8 and 9 Lingfield Road; or

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. During the works the one-way working in Lingfield Road will be suspended.

4. Any designated parking place situated in the length of Lingfield Road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.

5. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. Traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Southside Common, The Grange and Ridgway or via Ridgway and High Street Wimbledon.

8. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

9. The Order will come into operation on Monday 4th July 2022 and remain in force for 6 months.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(BLENHEIM CLOSE. SW20)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate telecommunication works to be undertaken in Blenheim Close, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works, no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Blenheim Close, between a point 35 metres south of its junction with Blenheim Road to a point in line with the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 2 Blenheim Close; or

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Blenheim Close, between a point 30 metres south of its junction with Blenheim Road to a point in line with the eastern building wall of No. 2 Blenheim Road; or

(c) enter or proceed on the western and southern footways adjacent to the road or length of road specified in paragraph (a) above.

3. The restrictions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Blenheim Close is a cul-de-sac and no diversion for vehicular traffic is applicable. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.

5. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply: -

(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or

(d) so as to prevent pedestrian access to properties adjacent the footway closure.

7. The Order will come into operation on Monday 4th July 2022, with the works anticipated to be carried out between 8am and 5pm that day. However, the Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 3 months and its provisions will be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.

(BUCKFAST ROAD. SM4)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate junction improvement works in Buckfast Road at its junction with Abbotsbury Road, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Buckfast Road.

2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to: -

(a) enter or proceed in Buckfast Road, SM4; from the eastern kerb-line of Abbotsbury Road south-eastward for a distance of 30 metres;

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.

5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Abbotsbury Road, Hazelwood Avenue and Central Road or vice-versa.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

8. The Order will come into operation on Monday 27th June 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will take two weeks to complete. However, should further works be required, the Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 6 months.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(VARIOUS ROADS) (NO. 1)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate a programme of carriageway resurfacing and general maintenance works to be undertaken in the roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which, during the works, would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic from entering, proceeding or waiting, including in any parking places, in those roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice.

2. Any designated parking place situated in any of the roads or lengths of roads specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this notice would be suspended for the duration of the works in those roads or lengths of roads.

3. The restrictions and suspensions would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Alternative routes for diverted traffic would be indicated by advance warning and diversion signs on the roads affected when the works are in progress but would likely be those diversion routes specified in column 2 of the Schedule to this notice.

5. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) emergency service vehicles, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited roads or lengths of roads insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

7. The Order would come into force on Monday 4th July 20212and the anticipated works dates are specified in column 3 of the Schedule to this notice. However, the Order would remain in operation for a maximum period of 12 months and its provisions would be re-introduced should further works be required.
