The Merton (Pedestrian And Cycle Zone) (Singlegate Primary School) Traffic Order 2022
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Merton, on 22 June 2022, made the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of the Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers, so as to continue In force Indefinitely the provisions of the Merton (Pedestrian and Cycle Zone) (South Gardens) Experimental Traffic Order 2021.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to prohibit all motorised vehicles from entering the road listed in column 3 of the Schedule to this notice, during the corresponding periods specified, with an exemption for those authorised vehicles which are specified on a white list for the road, held and maintained by the Council.
N.B. Enforcement is carried out school term-times only.
3. A copy of the Order, which will come into force on 1 July 2022, the Experimental Order of 2021 and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order and a plan specifying the road affected by the Order, can be Inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays Inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey, SM4 5DX. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof, or of any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with In relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

The Merton (Parking Places) (H2) (Amendment No. 1) Order 2022
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton, on 22 June 2022, made the above-mentioned Orders under the powers conferred by sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders will be to:-
(a) designate a parking place on the carriageway at the location listed in the Schedule to this Notice, In which vehicles authorised by the Order may be left for any period without charge;
(b) provide that the parking place will operate at all times, unless otherwise stated;
(c) specify, in respect of the parking place, that vehicles displaying In the relevant position, a disabled persons badge (commonly referred to as "the Blue Badge") issued by any local authority under the provisions of the Disabled Persons (Badges for Motor Vehicles) Regulations 2000 may be left therein;
(d) provide that certain vehicles may wait in the parking place in certain circumstances, e.g. to allow persons to board or alight (maximum 2 minutes), to load or unload (maximum 20 minutes), etc;
(e) revoke the disabled parking place outside No. 14 Dunster Avenue.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Merton propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 45,46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the 'Parking Places' Order would be to convert shared-use parking places to permit-only parking places at the following locations: -
(a) Graham Road, the north-west side, outside Nos. 3 to 27 Graham Road; and
(b) Graham Road, the south-east side, outside Lygon Court and Nos. 2 to 14 Graham Road.

A copy of the proposed Order and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a plan which indicates the road or lengths of road to which the Order relates can be Inspected Monday to Friday during normal office hours at Merton Link, Merton Civic Centre, London Road, Morden, Surrey.

1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate railway signalling and telecommunications maintenance works at the northernmost level crossing on West Barnes Lane, they Intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, Including for the purposes of loading or unloading any vehicle, In the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above;
(c) enter or proceed on foot In the length of West Barnes Lane specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be Indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Any vehicle in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
5. The alternative routes tenia) vehicles affected by the road closure would be via Claremont Avenue
and Burlington Road, or vice versa; (b) pedestrians affected by the road closure would be via the adjacent footbridge.
6. Nothing in the Order would apply: -
(a) to any person carrying out the works or any vehicle being used In connection with the execution of the said works;
(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable In uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes subject to site conditions in any emergency; or
(d) so as to prevent pedestrian or vehicular access to premises In or adjacent to the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above.
7. The Order would come Into operation at 11pm on Wednesday 20th July 2022 and remain in force until 6am the following day.

1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate planned telecommunication pole replacement works in Churston Drive, SM4, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

3. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Shaldon Drive, Monkleigh Road and Hillcross Avenue or vice-versa.
4. The restriction and suspension will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order will come into force on Wednesday 6th July 2022, with the works anticipated to be completed on Friday 8th July 2022. However, the Order will remain in operation for a maximum period of 3 months and its provisions will be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.
