Herefordshire Council Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: U70710, St Marys Street, Ross-On-Wye, Temporary Road Closure Order, to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the U70710, St Marys Street, Ftoss-On-Wye, from the junction of High Street to Ross-on-Wye Wealth Management Financial Advisers. Grid Ref: 359819/224130. The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via St Marys Street onto Royal Parade, onto Wilton Road, onto Edde Cross Street, onto Trenchard Street, onto Greytree Road, onto Mlllpond Street, onto Station Street, onto Smallbrook Road, onto Gloucester Road, onto High Street. The said closure is required due to cabling works and the likelihood of danger to the public while the works are taking place.

The said closure will come into force on 12th of July 2022 and remain In force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 1 day.
