The Barnet (Charged-For Parking Places) (Amendment No.123) (Experimental) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on the 23rd June 2022 the above-mentioned Order under 6, 45, 46, 49,51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

The general effect of the Charged-for order will be to make permanent the provisions of The Barnet (Charged-for Parking Places) (Amendment No.104) (Experimental) Order 2021 The Experimental Order, which came into operation on Thursday 8th July 2021, was introduced on an experimental basis in order to provide additional parking opportunities for resident permit holders due to the existing business permit holder only parking bays being underutilised in the Greenfield Gardens area the Charge-For Order will on an experimental basis convert two existing 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday business permit holders only parking bays situated on the northeast side of Greenfield Gardens NW2 (side of No.147 Cricklewood Lane) into shared use resident and business permit holder only parking bays operating 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Thursday 23rd June 2022 and the Council's Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be obtained, for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing

. uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 6th Floor, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale,
London NW9 4EW.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or any regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
