The Wandsworth (Huron Road) SW17 (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 Ref-TMO-0522-112

WHEREAS the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth ("the Council") being the Highway Authority for Huron Road is satisfied that traffic on the said road in the said London Borough should be restricted to facilitate Thames Water utility works, ("the works").
NOW THEREFORE the Council in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Order shall come into operation on 27 June 2022 and may be cited as The Wandsworth (Huron Road) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place, no vehicle shall enter, proceed, or wait along Huron Road outside numbers 2-8. There will be no waiting.

3. Nothing in Article 2 above shall apply to anything done:-

(a) with the permission or at the direction of a Police Constable in uniform or a person authorised by the Council; or

(b) by any person using a vehicle for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposed or by the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency; or

(c) by any person associated with the works.

4. The order will come into operation on 27 June 2022 and will remain in place until the works are complete. The order will remain in place for no longer than 18 months, although the works are expected to be complete by 1 July 2022.
