Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Over Norton, Choice Hill Road Prohibition of Through Traffic
Date of Order: 20 June 2022 Coming into force: 27 June 2022 This Order is being introduced because of foul water drainage connection works which are anticipated to be completed 15 July 2022. The effect of the Order is to temporarily prohibit any vehicle proceeding in that part of Choice Hill Road adjacent to the Village Hall. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for access to premises which are only accessible from the closed section of road. The alternative route for traffic is via the B4026, westwards via the unnamed Road, Choice Hill Road and vice versa. This Order will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. (Ref. T10411/AC)

Notice of Temporary Traffic Order Gosford & Water Eaton and Wolvercote Bridleway 320/15/10 closure
Date of Order: 20 June 2022 Coming into force: 1 July 2022 Work commenced: 10 June 2022 This Order is being introduced because of emergency bridge repair works by Canal & River Trust which are anticipated to take 6 months to complete. The work and bridleway closure has already started as an emergency from 10 June 2022 and the order will continue the closure until 9 December 2022. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily bridleway 320/15/10 below the A34 Western Bypass flyover southwest of the A40. Exemptions are included for emergency services and for the works and for pedestrian access to property which are only accessible from the closed section of bridleway. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. A short parallel diversion route is in place along footpaths 320/119/10, 320/8/10, and 229/11/40.
