Temporary Closure of Public Footpath No 79, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic [Temporary Restrictions] Act 1991. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Footpath 130, from grid reference SY 666 785 to grid reference SY 664 782 a distance of approximately 336metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 24 June 2022, for a period of 26 weeks.
The order is required to allow Betterment Properties to develop the land.
On this occasion there is no reasonable alternative route.

All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Footpath 92, from grid reference SY 662 784 to grid reference SY 665 783 a distance of approximately 270M metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on the 24 June 2022, for a period of 26 weeks.
The order is required to allow Betterment Properties to develop the land.

Temporary Closure of Unnamed Road, Dewlish
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Unnamed Road, Dewlish, between Jocks Hill and Shailes Farm House (in both directions), a distance of approximately 60 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 25 July 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 26 August 2022. This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out reconstruction and strengthening works on Shailes Farm Culvert.
A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.
