(Turner Street, Blackhill, Consett) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2022

The Council proposes to make an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all vehicular traffic from proceeding on a 15 metre length of Turner Street, Blackhill, Consett to enable Northumbrian Water Limited sewer repair works to be undertaken. An alternative route will be available to vehicular traffic via Derwent Street, Hawthorn Street, then Hawthorn Terrace. The maximum duration of the Order is 18 months. The proposed works are to commence at 8am on 11 July 2022 and are anticipated to be completed in 5 Days. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
