Parishes of Bishop's Lydeard, Halse and Ash Priors Temporary Closure of Coxlands Rock, Blakes Lane and Halse Road

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Coxlands Rock - from the junction with Northway Lane, southwards for a distance of 438 metres; Blakes Lane - from the junction with Coxlands Rock south eastwards for a distance of 707 metres; and Halse Road - from the junction with Blakes Lane, north eastwards for a distance of 1407 metres. For a total distance of 1407 metres. This Order will enable Airband Community Internet Ltd to carry out overhead, poling and civils works. The Order becomes effective on 7th July 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 15th July 2022 and last until 2nd August 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 19 days. Please visit
