Somerset County Council District of Somerset West and Taunton Parish of Halse Temporary Closure of Whitmoor Lane and Halsend

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Halsend - from the junction with Church Hill, south eastwards for a distance of 234 metres; and Whitmoor Lane - from the junction with Halsend, southwards for a distance of 41 metres. A total distance of 275 metres. This Order will enable Western Power Distribution to carry out pole changes and reconductoring works. The Order becomes effective on 23rd June 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 27th June 2022 and last until 1st July 2022 between the hours of 09:00 -17:00 for a total of 5 days. Please visit
