Notice Of Public Path Order Town And Country Planning Act 1990, Section 257 And Paragraph 1 Of Schedule 14
Public Footpath 2, Parish Of Central Swindon South Order 2022

The above order was made on 16 June 2022. The effect of the order will be to divert the public footpath from Point A on Day House Lane ("the Lane") at OS grid ref SU19098137, approx 210m NW of the centre of the A419 bridge over the Lane in a generally SSE direction through Points Y and V for approx 340m to Point B at OS grid ref SU18958104, approx 85m W of the boundary fence of the Highways Maintenance Depot ("the Depot") and create the alternative footpath from Point Z on the Lane at OS grid ref SU19058139, approx 240m NW of the centre of the A419 bridge over the Lane, in a generally SW and then SSE direction through Point Y, then a SW direction to Point X, and then SE and SSW to Point W at OS grid ref SU19028103, approx 25m W of the boundary fence of the Depot, a total distance of approx 435m, as shown on the order map.

A copy of the order and the map may be seen free of charge at the One Stop Shop, Wat Tyler House, Beckhampton Street, Swindon, from 9am to 5pm on Mondays and Wednesdays to Fridays and 9am to 4pm on Tuesdays. Copies of the order and map may be bought there at the price of £15. The order and order map can also be viewed on the public rights of way pages of the Swindon Borough Council website (

). Any representations about or objections to the order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Rights of Way Officer, Swindon Borough Council, Highways and Transport, 5th Floor Wat Tyler House W, Beckhampton Street, Swindon SN1 2JH, not later than 15 July 2022. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Swindon Borough Council may confirm the order as an unopposed order. If the order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the order.
