The Council has made The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 12, Fawley) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 12, Fawley, commencing at a point immediately south of footbridge FAW/3625 crossing the longwater and continuing to the northern point of footbridge FAW/3624 by the old Fawley Court boathouse, approximately 138m in length. The closure is required in the interests of public safety to enable the Fawley Court Estate to set up, operate and remove structures on the River Thames riverbank for the purposes of the Henley Royal Regatta and it is anticipated that these works will commence on 18 June 2022 and will take approximately 24 days to complete. Alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be south of footbridge FAW/3625 over the longwater in a south westerly direction for 27m, then in a southerly direction parallel with Public Footpath No. 12, Fawley for 98m, then in a south easterly direction for 34m to re-join Public Footpath No. 12, Fawley. The Order will come into operation on 18 June 2022, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Beacon Hill, Penn in the Parish of Penn CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Beacon Hill for approximately 74m. No alternative route required. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water stop tap and boundary box fitting works take place commencing on 4 July 2022 Road will remain closed for the duration of the works. Access to residents. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 July 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
