Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council ("the Council") has on 15th June 2022 made the Orders named below under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which when they come into operation on 27th June 2022 will amend and introduce electric vehicle charging bays in the parts of the roads identified:-

* Hampstead Road & Reigate Road - Amend Permit Parking Places Monday to Sunday - 9am to 8pm to provide Electric Vehicle Charging bays

* Robertson Road & Wincombe Road - Amend the Electric Vehicle bays to a timed Electric Vehicle bays

Zone C
* St James's Avenue & Upper Rock Gardens - Permit Parking Places Monday to Sunday - 9am to 8pm & Shared Permit/Paid Parking Places Monday to Sunday - 9am to 8pm to provide an Electric Vehicle Charging bays

Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Orders or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirements of the Act or of any instrument made under it have not been complied with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
