Darlington Borough Council Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (Temporary Road Closure) 2022 Otley Terrace, Darlington

Darlington Borough Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to close:

OTLEY TERRACE
From its junction with Whessoe Road southwards to its junction with Alliance Street

An alternative route will be signed via Whessoe Road, Bonomi Way, North Road, High Northgate, Station Road, Hopetown Lane and via Hopetown Lane, Station Road, High Northgate, Whessoe Road. The Order is necessary to allow works to install new electric cables.
The maximum duration of the temporary closure
under this Order is 18 months commencing from
25th July 2022, it is anticipated that the closure
will be effective for 3 weeks.
