London Borough Of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1)
(Spencer Hill And Worple Road, Sw19) (Temporary Restriction Of Traffic) Order 2022

1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton, hereby give notice that to facilitate cover replacement works in the carriageway of Worple Road near its junction with Spencer Hill, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in Spencer Hill and Worple Road.

2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Spencer Hill, from its junction with Worple Road, north-westward for a distance of 12 metres; or

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in:-

(i) Worple Road, from a point 7 metres south-west of its junction with Spencer Hill to a point 7 metres north-east of that junction; and

(ii) the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph (a) above.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

5. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closures should proceed:-

(a) via St John's Road and Denmark Avenue or vice-versa; or

(b) using all or some of the following roads:- Coombe Lane, Copse Hill, Cottenham Park Road, Durham Road, Ridgway, Ridgway Place, Wimbledon Hill Road and Worple Road.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order will come into force on Thursday 23rd June 2022 and it is expected that the works will be completed the same day. However, the Order will remain in force for a period of 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
(CASTLETON ROAD, CR4)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate water service pipe repair works in Castleton Road, CR4, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict pedestrian and vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Castleton Road, CR4, between the common boundary of Nos. 25 and 27 Castleton Road and the common boundary of Nos. 33 and 35 Castleton Road; or

(b) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub­paragraph (a) above; or

(c) enter or proceed in the north-western footway of Castleton Road which lies between a point 2 metres north-east of the common boundary of Nos. 25 and 27 Castleton Road and a point 2 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 33 and 35 Castleton Road.

3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works in that length of road.

4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to the properties adjacent to road or length of road specified in paragraph 2(a) above, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

6. Pedestrian access to the properties adjacent to the length of footway specified in paragraph 2(c) above will be maintained at all times.

7. Pedestrians affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.

8. The point closures in Abbotts Road and Castleton Road will be suspended to facilitate a diversion route for vehicular traffic.

9. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Hadley Road, Sherwood Park Road, Abbotts Road, Commonside East or vice-versa.

10. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

11. The Order will come into operation on Monday 27th June 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will take 5 days to complete. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

LONDON BOROUGH OF MERTON ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1) and 14(7) (CHURSTON DRIVE, SM4) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The London Borough of Merton Council hereby give notice that to facilitate planned telecommunication pole replacement works in Churston Drive, SM4, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person would cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Churston Drive, from its junction with Shaldon Drive south-eastward for a distance of 55 metres; and

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Shaldon Drive, Monkleigh Road and Hillcross Avenue or vice-versa.

4. The restriction and suspension would apply only during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

5. Any vehicle that is in contravention of any waiting restrictions imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. Nothing in the Order above would apply: -

(a) to any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) to any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or

(d) so as to prevent access to premises in or adjacent to the length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

7. The Order would come into force on Wednesday 6th July 2022, with the works anticipated to be completed on Friday 8th July 2022. However, the Order would remain in operation for a maximum period of 3 months and its provisions would be re-introduced during that period should further works be required.

LAVENDER GROVE, MITCHAM
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water connection works in Lavender Grove, Mitcham, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Lavender Grove, from a point 5 metres north of the common boundary of Nos. 1 and 3 Lavender Grove southward to a point 5 metres south of the common boundary of Nos. 3 and 5 Lavender Grove; or

(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. Lavender Grove is a cul-de-sac and a diversion route is not applicable. Access will be maintained for residents through the use of road plates.

6. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions during any emergency; or

(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.

7. The Order will come into operation on Monday 27th June 2022 and remain in force for 6 months.

(CHURCH ROAD, CR4)
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate new water connection works in Church Road, CR4, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily suspend a cycle lane in the said road.

2. During the worksi­te) no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the

purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Church Road, CR4, outside and opposite No. 96 Church Road; and (b) the lengths of cycle lane outside and opposite No. 96 Church Road, CR4, would be suspended.
3. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform, a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency.

5. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

6. The Order would come into operation on Monday 4th July 2022 and remain in force for 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.

WINDMILL ROAD, MITCHAM
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate telecommunication works in Windmill Road, Mitcham, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-

(a) enter or proceed in Windmill Road, between its junction with Commonside East and the entrance to the car park at the Mill House Ecology Centre; or

(b) wait, including for the purposes of loading or unloading, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.

3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Commonside East, Commonside West and Croydon Road or vice-versa.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any waiting prohibition imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

7. The Order will come into operation on Saturday 25th June 2022 with the works anticipated to be completed the following day. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14(1)
CANNON HILL LANE, SW20
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to enable telecommunication works in Cannon Hill Lane, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular and pedestrian traffic in the said road.

2. During the works no person will:-

(a) cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Cannon Hill Lane, both sides between a point 2 metres south-west of the common boundary of Nos. 357 and 379 Cannon Hill Lane and a point 2 metres north of the common boundary of Nos. 379 and 381 Cannon Hill Lane;

(b) enter or proceed on the western footway of Cannon Hill Lane, between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos. 365 and 367 Cannon Hill Lane and a point opposite the common boundary of 371 and 373 Cannon Hill Lane.

3. The restrictions will apply only during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

4. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -

(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or

(b) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or

(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions at the time of any emergency; or

(d) so as to prevent pedestrian access to premises adjacent to the length of footway specified in sub-paragraph 2(b) above.

6. Pedestrian traffic affected by the footway closure should proceed using the footway opposite.

7. The Order will come into operation on Monday 27 June 2022 with the works anticipated to be completed on 30 June 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 3 months should further works be required.
