1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Croydon Council on 13 June 2022 made the above Traffic Order under Sections 32, 35,124 of, and Parts I to IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended and all other enabling powers.
2. The general effect of the Order will be:
(a) To designate the area described In the Schedule to this Notice as a 24-hour off-street public car park.
(b) All vehicles left in the car park specified in the Schedule to this Notice must be parked within marked bays.
(c) Vehicles that are not parked within marked bays or not parked in accordance with the signs and surface markings displayed would be liable to receive a Penalty Charge Notice.
3. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 20 June 2022, can be inspected from 9am to 4pm, on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, by appointment with the Parking Design Team, at Bernard Wetherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1EA (telephone 020 8726 6000 and ask for Parking Design). Alternatively, copies of the Order, all related documents or further information can be requested by email to Parking.Design®
or by post from the Order Making Section, Parking Design, Bernard Weatherill House, 8 Mint Walk, Croydon, CRO 1 EA.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made there under have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE
Car Park Description of location
The forecourt area marked as a parking place, accessed from
TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works on behalf of Tramlink, have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic movements and parking in Church Street, Frith Road and Surrey Street, Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:
(a) Church Street will be closed between its junctions with Middle Street and Old Palace Road.
(b) Surrey Street and Frith Road will be closed at their junctions with Church Street.
(c) One-way working in Frith Road will be suspended to allow two-way traffic.
(d) Parking and loading bays in Church Street and Frith Road will be suspended.
3. Whilst the closures remain in force the alternative routes for diverted traffic will be via Drummond Road, Reeves Corner, Old Town, Lower Coombe Street, High Street, Whitgift Street, Charles Street and Church Road (for the Church Street closure), via Frith Road, Drummond Road, Reeves Corner, Old Town, Lower Coombe Street, High Street, Whitgift Street, Charles Street and Church Road (for the Frith Road closure), and via Scarbrook Road (for the Surrey Street closure), as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 17 June 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out over eight nights between 1am and 6am. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 PENRITH ROAD. THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate service pipe repair works on behalf of Thames Water, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Penrith Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place:-
(a) Penrith Road will be closed to vehicular traffic between its junction with Burlington Road and the north-western boundary of No. 65 Burlington Road;
(b) The north-eastern footway of Penrith Road will be closed between its junction with Burlington Road and the northwestern boundary of No. 65 Burlington Road
3. During the closure the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below and appropriately signed. Pedestrians will be diverted to the opposite footway.
? Via Burlington Road, Upton Road, Cranbrook Road, Penrith Road and reversed; or
? Via Burlington Road, Beulah Crescent, Osbourne Road, Northwood Road, Penrith Road and reversed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 20 June 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed within four days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS EGERTON ROAD. SOUTH NORWOOD TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install new gas supplies, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Egerton Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Egerton Road will be closed outside No. 28 Egerton Road.
3. During the works the diversion route for traffic will be via Whitehorse Lane, St Mary's Road and Parry Road as appropriately signed.
4. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes.
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
5. The Order will come into operation on 04 July 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 11 July 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

CROYDON COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT. 1984. SECTION 14 AS AMENDED AND THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 INGRAM ROAD THORNTON HEATH TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC
1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate telecom pole and cabinet installation works, they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Ingram Road.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Ingram Road will be closed between the roundabout (at the junction of Ingram Road, Waddington Way, Downsview Road, Biggin Way and Virginia Road) and its junction with the north-west to south-east arm of Ingram Road fronting property Nos. 92 to 96 Ingram Road.
3. Whilst the closure is in operation the alternative route for traffic will be via Virginia Road, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on 04 July 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 08 July 2022. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate remedial works to a defect in the carriageway they intend to make an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit vehicular traffic movements in Melrose Road, Coulsdon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Melrose Road will be closed at its junction with St Andrew's Road.
3. During the works the alternative routes for traffic will be as specified below and appropriately signed.
? Via St Andrews, Richmond Road, Winifred Road and reversed.
? Via St Andrews, Alexander Road, Winifred Road and reversed.
4. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:
(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said works;
(b) any vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes;
(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
5. The Order will come into operation on 01 July 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required.

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC BLENHEIM PARK ROAD. SOUTH CROYDON
1. Croydon Council, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate works to install a new gas service, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Blenheim Park Road, South Croydon.
2. Whilst the said works are taking place Blenheim Park Road will be closed between the common boundaries of Nos. 10 and 12 and Nos. 15 and 17 Blenheim Park Road.
3. During the works the alternative route for diverted traffic will be via Blenheim Park Road, Kingsdown Avenue, Brighton Road and St Augustine's Avenue, as appropriately signed.
4. The Order will come into operation on the 20 June 2022, and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out within five days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further works be required. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
5. These restrictions shall not apply in respect of:
(a) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance or police purposes.
(b) Any vehicle involved in the said works.
(c) Anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
