NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of order 1. isto further amend the Oxfordshire County Council (Oxford - Electric Vehicle Parking Places) Order 2018 to accommodate additional parking bays for Electric vehicles to charge (EV parking places). The following EV place will be subject to "5 hours with no return within 3 hours Monday - Saturday 8am - 6.30pm" hours of operation and is within a Controlled Parking Zones (stated within the proposed order):

*Permit Holders are exempt from the time limits. There is no restriction to the permitted charging times outside the stated daytime hours, subject to any existing Residents Permit limitations.

Car Club Parking:
In Latimer Road, east side near Nos.45/47 - a Car Club space will be created to allow for the removal of the space around the corner in All Saints Road. The effect of the order will be to replace a length of Permit Holders Only parking Monday to Friday 8am - 7pm, Sat 2 - 4pm, with a 5 metre Car Club Permit Holders Only Parking place at all times. Whereas in the removed space in All Saints Road, the effect will be to revert to Permit Holders Only parking Monday to Friday 8am - 7pm, Sat 2 - 4pm. The reason for the change is to relocate the car club bay to a point adjacent to an electric vehicle charging point although there is no proposal to restrict the car club bay to electric vehicles only.

Objections to the proposals and other representations specifying the grounds on which they are made may be sent in writing to the address below by 8 July 2022. The Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this Notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
