National Highways

M25 Motorway - Junctions 23-27 Temporary Traffic Restrictions

Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited has made an Order on the M25 Motorway in the Counties of Hertfordshire and Essex, and the London Borough of Enfield under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 because works are proposed to be executed on the road. This forms an extension of Temporary Notice HE/2022/E429 (which it thereby replaces) as permitted by The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Procedure Regulations 1992, Regulation 7.

The effect of the Order is to authorise the overnight phased closure of: -
1. the slip road leading to the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 at Junction 25 (A10);

2. the slip road leading from the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 at Junction 24

(A111/A1005); and
3. the link road connecting to the anti-clockwise carriageway of the M25 from the northbound carriageway of the M11 (from its diverge point with the road connecting to the clockwise carriageway of the M25) at Junction 27 (M11 Junction 6).

These measures are in the interests of road
safety while contractors undertake emergency
refuge areas improvements, signage works
and all associated works.
It is expected that the work will last for
approximately 6 months starting on or after
Friday 10th June 2022. The overnight closures
will take place between the following hours
(maximum periods) -
Mondays - Thursdays 21:00 - 05:30

Fridays 22:00 - 06:00

Saturdays 21:00 - 06:00

Sundays 21:00 - 05:30

The Order came into force on 10th June 2022 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months, ceasing when the works are complete. Please visit National Highways website for closure details.
Traffic affected by the closures will be diverted via other junctions on the M25 and by using Honey Lane.
The temporary closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
