CITY OF BRADFORD METROPOLITAN DISTRICT COUNCIL
SCHOOL STREET, STEETON TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council by reason of water works proposed to be executed on or near School Street, Steeton intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of School Street from a point outside No. 5 School Street to a point outside No. 15 School Street.

PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the works proposed to be carried out on the said length of road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.

Alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the proposed Order will be available via School Street (unaffected section), Market Street and vice versa.

The proposed Order will come into effect at 07:00 hours on the 26th June 2022 and remain in force until 19:00 hours on the 26th June 2022 (although the closure can remain in force for up to eighteen months if necessary).
