Temporary Closure Of Part Footpath Cca 28 (Cam Parish) Stroud District 2022

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport has extended the Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of part of Public Footpath CCA 28 next to the electricity substation and then extending in a generally south westerly direction for approximately 375 metres to its junction with the old railway line. The closure is necessary to protect the public while construction works take place. An Order was made on 13th January 2022 and was effective from 20th January 2022. It was originally anticipated that works would be completed by 19th July 2022. However, works are still ongoing and will not complete as anticipated and the Secretary of State has now granted an extension of the Order until 18th January 2023, or until the completion of the works, whichever is the earlier.

Proposed alternative route; as signed. Pedestrian access to properties and emergency access will be maintained for the duration of the works.
