Temporary Closure of Unnamed Road, Milborne St Andrew

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians, horse riders, cyclists and vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Unnamed Unclassified Road, Milborne St Andrew between Manor Farm Lane and Snag Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 10 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 27 June 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15 July 2022. This Order will enable Dorset Council to reconstruct a culvert under the highway.

Temporary Traffic Management Order, Various Roads, St Leonards and St Ives
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 28 June 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 5 August 2022.

This Order will enable Dorset Council to carry out carriageway maintenance and resurfacing works.
[i] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along in its entirety Norris Close / Bushmead Drive / Bushmead Drive Loop / Forest Edge Drive / Compton Beeches, St Leonards and St Ives (in both directions).

[ii] To impose clearway and parking suspension as indicated by signs on site to prevent waiting or parking on the highway along Norris Close / Bushmead Drive / Bushmead Drive Loop / Forest Edge Drive / Compton Beeches. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by this Notice may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

A locally signed diversion route will be put in place to enable traffic to travel around the closed sections.

Temporary 40mph Speed Limit of A356, Rampisham
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 04 July 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 09 July 2022. This Order will enable Scottish and Southern Power Distribution, safe access to carry out utility works. The effect of the order is as follows:

[1] To impose a temporary 40mph speed limit on A356, RAMPISHAM between Rampisham North Solar Farm and a point approximately 400m south east, as indicated by signs on site. DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians will be prohibited from proceeding along Footpath 92, from grid reference SY 662 784 to grid reference SY 665 783 a distance of approximately 270 metres. The order is needed in order to comply with Health and Safety Regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to Highway Users. It will come into operation on 24 June 2022 for a period of 6 months. But it can be, extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.
The order is required to allow Betterment Properties to develop the land.
On this occasion there is no reasonable alternative route.

It will come into operation on 24 June 2022 for a period of 6 months. But it can be, extended, with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of Dorset has made the

abovementioned Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order will be to introduce new or amend existing restrictions along specified lengths of Portland Road, Weymouth.

Temporary Closure of Various Roads, Ferndown
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 24 June 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months and can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport if necessary; however, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 28 July 2022. These works are programmed between these dates, an exact programme of works will follow.
[i] All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Glissons, Forest Way, Paddock Close, Juniper Close, Cedar Way, Redwood Drive, Ferndown, in their entirety (in both directions).

DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Hogstock Lane Tarrant Rushton, from its junction with Hogstock Lane To Windy Corner (in both directions), a distance of approximately 375 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 22 June 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 30
June 2022.

Temporary Closure of Public Bridleways,
Norton Lane, Durweston
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All pedestrians, horse riders and cyclists will be prohibited from proceeding along Bridleway, Norton Lane, from grid reference 383981 to grid reference,108101, a distance of approximately 150 metres. The Order is needed to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It comes into operation on 20 June 2022 and can remain in force for six months. This Order can be extended with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport, if necessary.
The Order is required to allow Savills access to work to a reservoir adjacent to a bridleway. The contractors site area and compound will encroach the bridleway.
The alternative route will run adjacent to existing bridleway along mown hedgerow.

Temporary Closure of Nottington Lane, Weymouth
DORSET COUNCIL intend, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along NOTTINGTON LANE, WEYMOUTH from its junction with Nottington Court for a distance of approximately 30 metres in an easterly direction. The order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations, which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 4 July 2022 and will remain in force for 18 months. however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 15 July 2022. This Order will enable Ford Civil Engineering, safe access to remove existing traffic calming and carry out works associated with new development.
An alternative vehicular route will be signed using; Dorchester Road - A354 Weymouth Way - B3157 Granby Way - Chickerell Road - East Street - School Hill - Coldharbour - Harbour Hill - Nottington Lane.
