(Byway 38, Castledene Road, Consett)
(Temporary Byway Closure) Order 2022

The Council on 10/6/22 made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 as amended, Section 14 (1) to prohibit all traffic from proceeding on 25 metres of Byway 38, Castledene Road, Consett, from the junction with Iveston Road to enable installation of new drainage works to be undertaken. There is no alternative route available to traffic. The maximum duration of the Order is 6 months. The proposed works are to commence on 17/6/22 from 8am and are anticipated to be completed in 9 weeks. On occasions, alternative dates for closure may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly.
