Notice Of Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic - Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
- St Anns Road, Middlewich
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic. Prohibition of traffic - St Anns Road, Middlewich - For its full extent
The alternative route will be via St Anns Road, Sutton Lane, Lewin Street, Leadsmithy Street, St Michaels Way, Nantwich Road, Newton Bank, Chester Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.
This order will come into operation on Monday 25 July 2022 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by
Friday 05 August 2022.

Notice Of Making - (Prohibition And Restriction Of Waiting, Loading, Stopping And Street Parking Places) (Various Roads) - (Consolidation) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that on 9 June 2022 Cheshire East Borough Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 38, 45, 46, 49, 51, 53, 61, 122 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter
referred to as "the 1984 Act") and Part IV of Schedule
9 to the 1984 Act and as a consequence of the coming into force of Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004 (hereinafter referred to as "the 2004 Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the 1984 Act proposes to make an Order.
1. The effect of the Order, which will come into operation on 17 June 2022, will be to revoke all prohibition and restriction of waiting, loading, stopping and street parking places Orders that have previously been made under sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 38, 45, 46, 49, 51, 53, 61, 122 and 124 of the 1984 Act and then to re-enact the provisions of those Orders under the proposed Order, consolidating the provisions into one Order.

3. Any person who desires to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act, or any requirement of the Act or an instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
