The Renfrewshire Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of The Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby gives notice that, because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads, no person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven or cause or permit any vehicle (except works vehicles) to wait or load on the following length of road in the town of Johnstone in the Unitary Authority of Renfrewshire:

Reason for Restriction: Carriageway Resurfacing.
vehicles left on the road in contravention of this Notice will be moved out of the works area. Local and Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

This order will be in force on Monday 20th June 2022 till Sunday 3rd July 2022. This notice will only be effective when so displayed by signs in accordance with The Traffic Signs Regulations & General Directions 2016. Ref.TT/2022/JMC/36

Hawkhead Road, From Barrhead Road to Scotts Road. Reason for Restriction: Carriageway Resurfacing.

Alternative Routes: Phase 1 carried out in 2 sections - Barrhead Road and Lochfield Road Junction.
¦ Road closed to through traffic at Rowan Street - diversion is Rowan Street/ Neilston Road/Causey Side Street/Gordon Street/Barrhead Road and vice versa.

¦ Barscube Road closed at Junction with Lochfield Road - no through traffic

Phase 2 - Barrhead Road closed to through traffic between Hawkhead Road Roundabout and Lochfield Road.Todholm Terrace access closed - local traffic diverted to Marnock Terrace access.
¦ Southbound (towards Barrhead) - Lochfield Road/Neilston Road/ Grahamston Road

¦ Northbound (towards Paisley) - Hawkhead Road/Glasgow Road/Mill Street/ Barrhead Road
