Hunterston Green Battery Complex Public Exhibition
Amp Energy invite you to join us at a public exhibition event for the Hunterston Green Battery Complex, located at Campbelton Farm, on Beech Avenue in Hunterston, North Ayrshire.
The facility will consist of battery energy storage and other equipment to provide reliable grid stability services and power management across the central belt of Scotland. By storing and managing the dispatch of renewable energy generated from Scottish windfarms, the project is future-proofing the UK's electricity infrastructure at a fraction of the cost of expensive transmission upgrades.
Setting the standard for energy storage globally, the project provides an
important step forward for the UK towards achieving its net-zero target.
The development was granted planning permission by the Scottish Government
in January 2022, and Amp Energy is committed to informing and engaging with
the community on the forthcoming construction and operation.
A live in-person event will take place on Tuesday 21st June 2022 between
3.00 pm - 8.00 pm at the West Kilbride Village Hall, 1 Arthur Street,
West Kilbride, KA23 9EN.
For those unable to attend the exhibition in person, information regarding the development, including all exhibition presentation materials, will be available from
.
