Notice of Application for a Premises Licence We The Veil Restaurant & Bar hereby make application for a Premises Licence in respect of 1 Battlewick, Whitmore Way, SS14 3JX. The proposed licensable activity is: To sell alcohol on the premises and play recorded music and late night refreshments. From Tuesdays - Sundays from 11am - 1am. Interested parties and responsible authorities may make representations to the Licensing Authority (Basildon Borough Council). All such representations shall be made in writing within 28 days from the date below. Representations should be sent to:- The Licencing Authority, Basildon Borough Council, The Basildon Centre, St. Martin's Square, Basildon Essex SS14 1DL.

A record of the application and the statutory register of the Licencing Authority may be inspected at the Council's office address given above, by appointment, between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday (except Public Holidays). It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application; and the maximum fine for which a person is liable on summary conviction, is level 5 of the standard scale.
