Somerset County Council District of Sedgemoor Parish of Ashcott Temporary Closure of The Batch

Somerset County Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along The Batch - from the junction with West Street south-westwards for 38 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to carry out replacement lead comm pipe relay works. The Order becomes effective on 28th June 2022 and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 4th July 2022 and last until 8th July 2022 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days. Please visit
