The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading And Stopping) And (On-Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Amendment No.17) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Chelmsford City Council acting on behalf of the South Essex Parking Partnership in exercise of the delegated powers of the traffic authority Essex County Council granted under an agreement dated 31 March 2011 (and subsequently varied by Deed of Variation on 15 June 2011 and 27 July 2012) has made the above Order under Sections 1(1), 2 (1) to (3), 4(1), 4(2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. A copy of the draft Order, of the plans of the restrictions, and of the Order to be amended together with a copy of this
Notice and a Statement of Reasons for proposing the Order are available in the Civic Reception, Civic Centre, Chelmsford
and Basildon District Council, The Basildon Centre, St Martin's Square, Basildon where they may be inspected during
normal office hours, or online at www.chelmsford.gov.uk.
Date of operation: This Order will come into operation on 25 July 2022.
Application to the High Court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
