(Hillend Road, Clarkston) Temporary Restriction To Use Of Road Order 2022

On the 26 May 2022 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on a section of Hillend Road, Clarkston, between its junction with Flenders Avenue and property no. 56, in order to facilitate the essential carriageway and footway resurfacing works within or near the road, scheduled to be carried from Monday 4 July until Friday 26 August 2022.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.

Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
Alternative route: Hillend Road - Craighill Drive - Sundale Avenue - Beechlands Drive - Flenders Avenue and vice versa.
