London Borough of Merton Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 - Section 14(1)
Wandle Road. Morden (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works in Wandle Road, Morden, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:
(a) enter or proceed in Wandle Road, between its junction with Morden Road and its junction with Bishopsford Road; or
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in paragraph (a) above.
3. Any designated parking place situated in the road or length of road specified paragraph 2(a) above will be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes, subject to site conditions in any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties adjacent to the prohibited road or length of road insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works.
6. Vehicular traffic affected by the road closure should proceed via Morden Road, London Road and Bishopsford Road or vice-versa.
7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
8. The Order will come into operation on Monday 13th June 2022 and it is anticipated that the works will be carried out between 8am and 6pm daily until Thursday 16th June 2022 inclusive. However, the Order will remain in force for 12 months should further works be required.

SYCAMORE ROAD. SW19 (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC! ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton hereby give notice that to facilitate development works at No. 44 Sycamore Road, SW19, they intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person would cause or permit any vehicle to wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in Sycamore Road, the east side, from a point 12.5 metres north of the southern building line of Nos. 61 to 71 Sycamore Road, southward for a distance of 5 metres (from the southern extremity of the most southern disabled persons parking place southward for a distance of 5 metres).
3. Any designated parking place situated in the length of road specified in paragraph 2 above would be suspended for the duration of the works.
4. The restrictions would only apply during such times and to such extent as would from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
5. Nothing in the Order would apply to: -
(a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer; or
(b) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes in any emergency.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order would come into operation on Friday 24th June 2022 and would remain in force until 23rd October 2022.

(COPPER MILL LANE. SW17! (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC! ORDER 2022
1. The Council of the London Borough of Merton, hereby give notice that to facilitate reinstatement works in the carriageway of Copper Mill Lane, they have made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic in the said road.
2. During the works, no person will cause or permit any vehicle to:-
(a) enter or proceed in Copper Mill Lane, from a point 2 metres south-west of the south-western building wall of no. 39 Copper Mill Lane, south-westward for a distance of 20 metres; or
(b) wait, including for the purpose of loading or unloading any vehicle, in the road or length of road specified in sub-paragraph 2(a) above.
3. The restrictions will only apply during such times and to such extent as will from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
4. Nothing in the Order will apply to: -
(a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works; or
(b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or a police community support officer in uniform; or
(c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes during any emergency; or
(d) any person requiring vehicular access to properties in Copper Mill Lane, west of No. 39 Copper Mill Lane, insofar as access is reasonably practicable without interference with the said works. It is anticipated that access will be maintained at all times.
5. Copper Mill Lane is a cul-de-sac and a diversion route is not applicable.
6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.
7. The Order will come into force on Wednesday 22nd June 2022 and it is expected that the works will be completed the same day. However, the Order will remain in force for a period of 3 months should further works be required.
