(Temporary Closing Of Blanche Lane, South Mimms) Order No.2 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Blanche Lane, South Mimms from its junction with New Road north eastwards and north westwards for a distance of approximately 115m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via New Road, Greyhound Lane and Blanche Lane.
The Order is needed because footway reconstruction works are proposed to be executed near the Road. If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 27 June 2022 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road.

The Hertfordshire (The Causeway, Thaynesfield And Morven Close, Potters Bar) (Restriction Of Waiting) Order 2022
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce waiting restrictions in parts of Potters Bar as specified in the Schedule to this Notice. The Order will come into effect on Monday 20 June 2022. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order are held on deposit and may be viewed from 9 June 2022 to 21 July 2022 during normal office hours at Main Reception, Hertfordshire County Council, County Hall, Pegs Lane, Hertford or may also be viewed online from 9 June 2022 at

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within 6 weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose. SCHEDULE: No waiting at any time - effecting those sections of road herein listed and as set out in the Order and accompanying plan - at the junctions of The Causeway with Thaynesfield and with Morven Close.
