NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, have, under its relevant powers, made the following Order: El Dorado Festival Speed Restriction, Herefordshire, Temporary Speed Restriction Order, to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 30 MPH on the following roads,
El Dorado Festival Speed Restriction, Herefordshire, Temporary Speed Restriction Order,
i. On the A449, Massington from a point approximately 110 m South of the U67005, Cut Throat Lane junction (371904/238363) to a point approximately 75 m North East of the junction with the B4218 (374514/240185), a distance of approximately 3.4 km at a maximum speed of 30 mph.

ii. On the A438, Eastnor from the junction with the A449 (274142/238463) to a point by Rose Cottage, Eastnor (374183/236883), a distance of approximately 2.8 km at a maximum speed of 30 mph.

The said restriction is required due to slowing of traffic whilst El Dorado Festival is in progress and the likelihood of danger to the public while traffic volumes are increased. The said restriction will come into force on 30th June 2022 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 6 days.
