(A1245 Chelmsford Road, Rawreth) (Derestriction) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 81, 82(2), 83(2) and Part III of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).
Effect of the order: To remove the restricted road status and therefore apply national speed limit on the following length of A1245 Chelmsford Road, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 860 metres northwest of its junction with Church Road to a point approximately 150 metres southeast of its junction with Church Road. A total distance of approximately 1010 metres.
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 10 June 2022.

(Brays Lane, Rochford/Ashingdon & Apton Hall Road, Rochford/ Stambridge) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) & (Canewdon Road/ Lark Hill Road, Canewdon) (Temporary Suspension of 7.5T Weight Restriction) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Brays Lane, Rochford/Ashingdon & Apton Hall Road, Rochford/Stambridge in the District of Rochford, from the junction with Scotts Hall Road to the junction with Ashingdon Road a distance of approximately 2830m.
2. To temporarily suspend the 7.5 tonne weight restriction in those lengths of Canewdon Road & Lark Hill Road from the junction with Larkhill Road/Hyde Wood Lane westwards to the junction with Ashingdon Road and from its junction with Anchor Lane westwards to its junction with Canewdon Road/Hyde Wood Lane as cited in "Essex County Council (Various Roads, Ashingdon and Canewdon) (Weight Restriction) Order 1991" for the duration of the above closure only.
The closure/suspension is scheduled to commence on 22nd June 2022 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2329430 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/suspension is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council. An alternative route is available via Scotts Hall Road, Lark Hill Road, Canewdon Road, Ashingdon Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Canewdon Road, Ashingdon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Canewdon Road, Ashingdon in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 280m north east then east of its junction with Ashingdon Road for a distance of approximately 280m in an easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd July 2022 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008OGEA77352480 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while overhead cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Canewdon Road, Lark Hill Road, Anchor Lane, High Street, Lambourne Hall Road, Creeksea Ferry Road, Gore Road, Apton Hall Road, Brays Lane, Shires Way, Ashingdon Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
(Laburnum Avenue, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Laburnum Avenue, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Nevendon Road for a distance approximately 40m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 4th July 2022 for 47 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5021001163507 - Cadent). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas main works are undertaken by Cadent.
An alternative route is available via Laburnum Avenue, Elder Way, Elder Avenue, Nevendon Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 16th June 2022 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier
