The A663 Trunk Road - Broadway (Temporary Prohibition Of Traffic) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited (Company No. 09346363) intends to make an Order on the A663 Trunk
Road, in the Borough of Oldham, in the County of Greater Manchester, to enable junction improvement works and other general maintenance, to be carried out in safety. The Order will ban all traffic from the following:
i. turning right from the southbound A663 Broadway onto the westbound Middleton Road;

ii. turning right from the A663 Broadway northbound onto the eastbound Middleton

Road;
iii. turning left from the A663 Broadway northbound, onto the westbound Middleton

Road;
iv. turning left from the westbound Middleton Road onto the A663 Broadway southbound;

v. turning right from the westbound Middleton Road onto the A663 Broadway northbound;

vi. turning right from the eastbound Middleton Road, onto the A663 Broadway southbound.

The works are expected to take place during a continuous period starting at 07:00 on Monday 18 July 2022 and ending at 17:00 on Friday 25 November 2022. However, works may start and continue during subsequent continuous periods until completed. Most of the works will be undertaken during daytime hours, and access for pedestrians will be maintained.
Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the A663 Trunk Road, M60 Motorway, and local roads will be well signed. The prohibitions will not apply to emergency services, works, winter maintenance, or traffic officer vehicles; and will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall, from time to time, be indicated by traffic signs.
