BUCKINGHAMSHIRE COUNCIL


The Council intends to make The Buckinghamshire Council (Public Footpath No. 12, Fawley) (Temporary Footpath Closure) Order 2022 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which will temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding, except for access, in that length of Public Footpath No. 12, Fawley, commencing at a point immediately south of footbridge FAW/3625 crossing the longwater and continuing to the northern point of footbridge FAW/3624 by the old Fawley Court boathouse, approximately 138m in length. The closure is required in the interests of public safety to enable the Fawley Court Estate to set up, operate and remove structures on the River Thames riverbank for the purposes of the Henley Royal Regatta and it is anticipated that these works will commence on 18 June 2022 and will take approximately 24 days to complete. Alternative route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be south of footbridge FAW/3625 over the longwater in a south westerly direction for 27m, then in a southerly direction parallel with Public Footpath No. 12, Fawley for 98m, then in a south easterly direction for 34m to re-join Public Footpath No. 12, Fawley. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18 June 2022, as signed, with a maximum duration of 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the soonest.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Abbey Barn Lane, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Abbey Barn Lane for 282 metres. Alternative route: Kingsmead Road, Boundary Road, Treadaway Hill, Swains Lane, Heath End Road, Abbey Barn Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst tree management on the power line take places commencing on 20 June 2022 between 09:30 and 16:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 20 June 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Village Road, Ballinger) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Village Road for 96 metres. Alternative route: Village Road, Herberts Hole, Pednor Top, Pednor Bottom To Pednor Top, Pednor Bottom, Westdean Lane, Chartridge Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst a new water connection takes place commencing on 11 June 2022 between 08:00 and 17:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 11 June 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Bull Lane, Chalfont St Peter in the Parish of Chalfont St. Peter CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bull Lane for approximately 95m. Alternative route: Bull Lane, Orchehill Avenue, Packhorse Road, Kingsway, Austenwood Common, Austenwood Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach overhead cabling works take place commencing on 7 June 2022 between 09:00 and 15:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 7 June 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (Bellingdon Road, Chesham in the Parish of Chesham CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Bellingdon Road for approximately 27m. The closure is required whilst Affinity Water works to renew ferrule take place commencing on 5 June 2022 between 08:00 and 16:00. The proposed Order will come into operation on 5 June 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council has made Buckinghamshire Council (West Wycombe Road, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order, 2022, which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from waiting in West Wycombe Road, which commences at a point for approximately 30m across junction of Portway Drive. The restriction is required to ensure that Cadent Gas works take place commencing on 4-7 June 2022. The proposed Order will come into operation on 4 June 2022 as signed, with a maximum duration of 18 months.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (Windsor Lane, Little Kingshill in the Parish of Little Missenden CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Windsor Lane for approximately 174m. Alternative route: Windsor Lane, Heath End Road, Copes Road, Cockpit Road, Missenden Road, Peterley Lane, Nags Head Lane and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Openreach works to replace a pole works take place commencing on 28 June 2022 between 09:00 and 15:00 only, road will be open at all other times. The proposed Order will come into operation on 28 June 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

The Council intends to make Buckinghamshire Council (High Street, Chalfont St Peter in the Parish of Chalfont St. Peter CP) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2022 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in High Street for approximately 24m. Alternative route: High Street, Lower Road, Kingsway, Chalfont St Peter Bypass and vice versa. The closure is required whilst Cappagh on behalf of Thames Water to rectify a defect in the carriageway works take place commencing on 18 June 2022. The proposed Order will come into operation on 18 June 2022, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
