Broad Street, Temporary Parking Restriction

Notice of Intention

NOTICE Is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: Commonwealth Games Baton Relay, Hereford, Herefordshire, Temporary Parking Restriction Order 2022, to temporarily prohibit vehicles parking on the roads shown in schedule 1 of the Order.

The said restrictions are required due to safety during the Commonwealth Games Baton Relay event being held on or near the said roads. The said Order will come into force on the 5th July 2022 and may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed with the duration of each location shown in Schedule 1 of the Order.
